I started to read the letter and was stunned at its contents. The letter was from my husband’s ex−wife and in it she declared that she was sick and tired of the abuse that she had suffered over the years of being married to him and had made the difficult decision to leave him along with their son. For the safety of her son she had decided to move to another city and break all forms of communication with him but stated that she did so to ensure that both her and her son had some form of life together and were not always looking behind them, but instead they could move forward and live in peace not wondering where the next punch might be coming from.
