I made sure that I had made him simple meals he could warm up easily in the microwave whilst I was away. I filled the car up with petrol and headed to Birmingham stopping only once at a service station to make sure I had been reading the map properly. It took me another thirty minutes to arrive at my destination. The house address I had looked for appeared to be quite dainty and the estate itself looked as if only elderly people had lived there. I must admit I was nervous knocking on the door especially when I saw the curtain twitching, and nobody answered the doorbell.

I waited a while and then eventually the door opened a little with the safety catch on. An elderly lady stood there looking afraid and it was clear to see she wasn’t sure as to whether she had made the right decision or not in opening the door.
