It took a while for the gossip crew at work to forget my HR meeting and I was glad that Gavin knew nothing about it either. I made up some excuse to go and see my parents on the weekend as Gavin had slowly begun to enforce stricter rules of where I could and couldn’t go. Luckily my parent’s house was a safe to go zone and I ensured that I took full advantage of visiting it when I could.
Mum and I had a big heart to heart after she had seen me try to eat some food, but I seriously couldn’t.
