I stood on the dual carriageway outside our mountainous home and looked out for a taxi. My phone had barely any battery left. Various traffic went past; coaches, buses, little shuttle buses going on various excursions. There were no taxis in sight. Cars started honking their horns at me looking lost and bewildered and confused.

I was like a lost child not knowing what to do or where to go…

In the madness of the traffic honking at me, I stood silent and did something I hadn’t done out loud in a long while.
