Amir’s trauma certainly causes his life to go into turmoil as the world that Amir is familiar with is actually severed by the actions of others. Amir’s traumatic event has disembodied everything that was familiar to Amir, and he is unable to recognise himself, instead he still sees himself as a young child that hasn’t evolved or developed due to the unfortunate trauma he witnesses.
