Hosseini’s novel bravely engaged with themes that many modern−day writers avoid but he bravely embraced some difficult topics and explored how these themes intertwined with the lives of the Afghanastani people. His novel has made us question how we conduct ourselves within a moral, law−abiding society and how we have failed to support and protect the most vulnerable within our society.
