Afghanistan is definitely a country that has not only been ruled by the West but also by the East. Each country has tried to dominate and control it to some degree for its own political gains. Afghanistan as a consequence has become ruptured and ended up in further turmoil as a consequence of the political upheaval it has been surrounded by. Matinuddin further reiterates that:
