Mary is now outside her classroom waiting for her Year 10 students to come to her class. The corridors are packed full of students but as per usual she has to wander up and down the corridor to convince her students to come to class. Many of them are sat on the outside benches outside the Head of Department’s room eating, chewing or drinking. Some of the students are fast asleep and are leaning on other students as a pillow, whilst more sensible students are beginning to line up for the lesson.

Mary: [Raising her voice] Come on Year 10 line up [sighs as she sees various students roaming around the corridor as per usual. Other members of staff just stand diligently waiting for the students to come trailing in].
