Jennifer: Well I never. Whoever is making these letters has a lot of time on their hands. But you have to admit, it is rather amusing. [Places a folded letter into her pocket and starts giggling to herself].

Jude: Well, who do you reckon it is? It’s got to be someone that knows senior management because we are finding out all their juicy gossip! [Looks suspiciously around the staffroom hoping to get the attention of someone who wants to join in with the conversation].

Mary sits down near to Jennifer and Jude. She starts to eat her sandwich and can’t help but be engrossed in their conversation.

Jennifer: Whoever has written these things has a witty attitude that’s for sure, and a wide range of what I’d call ‘posh words’.

Jude:
