My biggest panic attacks had started when the court dates appeared in the post. I had immediately recognised the brown letters with the emblem of the court embossed on the front of the envelope. Mum thankfully helped me with my anxiety as I tried opening up the letter to see when I would have to face Gavin in court.
Several months had passed and I was getting better with my anxiety issues. I had been going through various counselling sessions with my therapist which had really helped me to get a hold of my life and had helped me to focus on what was important.
Healing my wounds and putting my life back together again.
Eventually I was able to go and see an occupational therapist and started to focus on the smaller steps I needed in order to help me embrace the idea of going back to work.
